Ingredients
- 11b Cherry tomatoes no need to skin
- 2 Red Peppers
- 1 Tin Of Chopped Tomatoes
- 2 Small Onions
- 1/2 Cup of malt vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp Ginger
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 3 Sticks Celery Chopped Up Small
- 3 Tbs Tomatoe Pur’ee
Directions
Place all ingredients into a cooking pot, and simmer till all is tender and well cooked.
Sterile and warm jars ready for when relish is ready.
When cooked, jar up label and date.
This will go down well with cold meats at Christmas .

- Juice of One Lemon
- 20oz Tomatos
- 12 Tart Green apples
- 1 Cup of Chopped Onions
- 120z Seedles Raisins
- 16oz Cider Vinegar
- 18oz Brown Sugar
- 2 Red Bell Peppers
- 2 Tbs Salt
- 1 Tsp Ginger Spice
- 11/2 Tbs Curry Powder
- 3 Tbs Mixed Pickling Spices
- Muslin Bag
DIRECTIONS
Skin tomatos by puttting then in a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes.
Peel and chop up apples, onions, and the red peppers.
Place all ingredients into a big cooking pot, and add to it, the mix pickling spices in to muslin cloth.
Simmer all the ingredients until fruit is tender.
Steriles and warm jars .
When chutney as cooked place into warm jars and seal.
label and date jars .
This chutney is a must have at Christmas time .
